Microregion touristic cluster Subotica, Palic

2nd stage, industrial sector: Hospitality and Tourism

Microregion touristic cluster was founded in 2007/2008 and deals with the improvement of tourism and hospitality. It includes the territory of the municipality of Subotica.


Cluster's objective is to achieve active influence on the development of micro regions through tourist-hospitality offer, improvement of capacity of business members, assistance in resolving issues regarding development of services at the local level, the implementation of good practices and connection with more developed micro-regions.

 

Cluster activitiies:

  • Networking through the development of database of cluster members.
  • Cluster promotion (preparation of cluster’s brochures, participation at the conferences etc).
  • Education of cluster members (courses for bartenders and sommeliers, HACCP, food safety, tourism etc).
  • Establishment cooperation with international and regional clusters in order to promote the cluster.
  • Preparation and participation at EU projects (preparation of project applications for IPA cross-border cooperation with Croatia, Hungary and preparation of project applications for participation at South East Europe Programme).
