Netwood – Cluster for Furniture Production

Cluster, industrial sector: Furniture

Furniture producing cluster "Netwood" was established in 2007 as a non-profit association of citizens working to promote a cluster concept and to unite furniture producers in order to attain common interests, increase their market presence, and improve and modernize furniture production in Sumadija and Pomoravlje regions.


Cluster’s objective is to promote innovations and increase the competitiveness of small and medium sized furniture production enterprises in Sumadija and Pomoravlje regions through creating new innovative business networks which would allow for better cooperation, transfer of know-how and higher business competitiveness.

 

Cluster activities:

  • A data base on all furniture producers and supplemental activities in the Sumadija and Pomoravlje region was created.
  • A cluster service center providing the services of business information, professional and legal advice, administrative and technical support and business networking was created.
  • Joint presentation of all members of cluster "Netwood" on the Furniture Fair in Belgrade.
  • Cluster’s Website was developed - www.netwoodcluster.net
  • Cooperation with the „Czech furniture” cluster has been established.
