South Serbian Alko Cluster – Grape, Fruit and Wine and Brandy Producers Cluster from Jablanica and Pcinja districts

South Serbian Alko Cluster is a professional, non-profit organization involving grape, wine and brandy producers from Jablanica and Pcinja districts and other legal entities and natural persons interested in producing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks and their complementary products. It was established in 2006.


Cluster’s objective is to join all producers of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks of the complete value chain at the regional level by creating conditions for high cluster positioning on domestic and foreign markets, and strengthening the competitiveness of the cluster and its members by fulfilling required production and delivery dynamics and quality standards.

 

Cluster activities:

  • The cluster office was equipped, thus securing its functional operation (a cluster coordinator was hired and working groups in charge of project implementation were created).
  • The Website containing the information about the cluster members and their crucial projects was developed.
  • Promotional material for the cluster was created (products catalog, brochure and a video).
  • A data base on the cluster members and their potential partners was created.
  • The preparation for the members’ products certification and the implementation of the HACCP system is underway.
