The first medical tourism conference was held in Belgrade

Medical tourism business cluster, organized from 8 - 9 November 2008 the first medical tourism conference in the Sava Center. The aim of the conference is to create partnerships with international agencies of medical tourism, insurance houses, and international hospitals that want to outsource medical service abroad as well as to inform about the medical tourism market in the world, education and knowledge sharing.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Tourist organization of the Republic of Serbia, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the city of Belgrade.
