Embedded.rs – An Integrated Electronic Systems Cluster

1st stage, industrial sector: IT

An Integrated Electronic Systems Cluster „Embededd.rs” is a new initiative launched during 2008. The guiding idea behind this cluster is the strengthening of embedded technologies (integrated electronic system) in the Republic of Serbia. Business companies and educational and research institutions using or working with mentioned technologies are currently very poorly connected; therefore there is a huge area of action for this particular cluster.


Cluster’s objective is to popularize the profession, to improve the cooperation between educational and research institutions - thus serving as a basis for the future - and to offer answers to current market needs through unifying business processes and improving their quality.

 

Cluster activities:

  • Review current state of affairs in the industry – exchange of information and cooperation in solving mutual problems.
  • Preparation and adoption of industry internationalization strategy - a visit to the Electronics Fair in Munich 2008 was organized in order to obtain the necessary information.
  • Creation of cluster’s visual identity – a visual identity was created in tune with the cluster’s founding ideas.
