Municipality of Knjazevac Shoemakers’ Cluster is an association of entreprenuers from Knjazevac municipality in the shoemaking field. It was established in 2007.


Cluster’s objective is to increase production, employment opportunities and export potentials, to create branding for the shoemaking industry’s products in order to further contribute to poverty reduction and strengthen the economic development of the region.

 

Cluster activities:

  • Establishing cluster’s representative offices in all larger cities in Serbia, particularly in the city of Nis.
  • Participating in fair, expos and promotional events (International Fair of Textiles, Leather and Equipment in Belgrade, „Business Base“ event in Belgrade).
  • Organizing the Leather Goods and Shoes Fair and the VI Entrepreneurship Fair „PRIVISI“ in Knjazevac.
  • Facilitating the exchange of experiences with other manufacturers in the same field from developed countries and providing support in adopting good practice examples.
