On May 14th 2009, a presentation of UNIDO project “Facilitating International Market Access for Manufacturing Suppliers in the Automotive Component Industry in Serbia” took place within the premises of Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTS) – Novi Sad.
In their presentation speakers informed the 70 participants (17 professors and 50 students) about the UNIDO programme in Serbia and presented their Indian study tour experiences.
During the presentation following topics had been also been covered: UNIDO project in Serbia and AC Serbia role, possibilities for new projects with UNIDO, positive experiences from Serbian companies involved in project, India study tour experiences, implementation of continuous improvement in India (Kaizen, 5s, SMED, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, Just in Time), modern developing and control centers in India.
