The Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) is a program of the European Union, which aims to encourage the competitiveness of European enterprises, especially small and medium sized.
The Republic of Serbia signing the Memorandum of Understanding gains the possibility to participate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (EIP) in the period of 2008 to 2013, which is one of the three operational programmes of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP). The Republic of Serbia got the possibility to join the program in 2008 and to participate in only one Programs’ instrument. From 2009 the Republic of Serbia will be able to participate in all Programs’ instruments.
